Karen, it looks absolutely gorgeous! Post some narrative about where you stayed and what sights you went to see.
Looking forward to hearing some details.

We're suffering some cabin fever as well.

Dan,
We rented a house from VRBO (Vacation Rental by Owner)... a friend whose brother lives in Oahu helped us. The house was on the beach and the picture of the sun coming up is from the back yard. Pearl Harbor was directly across from us. We visited Pearl Harbor, which was very sobering and very surprising because the majority of the people visiting were Japanese. We spent a lot of our time on the North Shore in Haleiwa. Sarah & Daniel were taking pictures in the Waimea Valley Audubon Center which has every kind of plant and flower that you can imagine and you can walk to Waihi Falls to swim. We (the kids mainly) went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve where Blue Hawaii and Donovan's Reef were filmed . . . that is the picture of Sam & Daniel walking up the hill w/cooler. There were sea turtles and lots of cool fish and one of the only swimmable beaches. The picture of Daniel with the boogey board was an unswimmable beach which Daniel found out after bursting his ear drum. He thought if the surfers could do it, he could too!! ha-ha!! (trip to the emergency room) We went to a luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center which was a little disappointing - they don't bother to tell you it is run by Brigham Young University - no caffeine or alcohol - boooooo!! It was still fun, I have a hilarious picture that I have to get off Daniel's camera to share. I want to go back --- I know what I want to do now!! Later, Karen

Karen,
It all sounds fantastic. I'm sure it went way too fast.
